How many guests can The Barn at Countryside accommodate?

400 guests maximum inside the barn.

What is your availability for the remainder of the year?

We we still have some availability for 2024 and are booking for 2025.

Do you host birthdays or Quinceañera’s?

We do not host any type of birthday party including quinceañera’s. We only host weddings and private business events such as holiday parties or personal private events such as celebrations of life/funerals.

Where can we stay nearby?

There is a beautiful VRBO just a minute away from the venue on Countryside road that makes it convenient for family or wedding parties to stay during the weekend of your event. Please visit this link to book!

There are also many hotel options in Wilsonville nearby including the Hilton Garden Inn and Best Western, among others.

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

We require a deposit to reserve your date. The remainder is due 30 days before your event date. Cancellation of your event results in forfeit of the deposit.

What services does the rental fee include?

Our rental fee includes use of the Barn, East and West Gardens, Bridal Suite, & Grooms Quarters. The use of tables and chairs and our other banquet tables, arbor, bar, and high-boy bar tables are also included for your alloted time at the venue. A Barn at Countryside host will be available to answer any questions.

Is the rental fee cheaper if we book an off-season date?

No. Our pricing is the same all year long.

Do you provide drinking water?

Our tap water is safe to drink but it is well water, so it does contain hydrogen sulfide that causes a bit of a smell - so we recommend you provide your own drinking water for your event.

Are there any additional costs, cleaning fees or liability insurance required?

A damage deposit is required and will be refunded after your event. We will assist you in securing the required insurance for your event.  Policy cost is usually around $285.

Does The Barn at Countryside charge a ceremony site fee?

No.

Are other events scheduled at the farm on the same day?

No.

What time does our event need to end?

The barn and bridal suite need to be cleaned and empty by midnight at the latest. Everyone needs to be off the property no later than that.

Is there a day-of host on site? What role will this person play?

Yes, The Barn at Countryside will provide you with an on-site host to assist in setup, take-down and any questions you may have on day of. The host does not “coordinate” or run the schedule of your wedding day events.

Do you host rehearsals?

Yes, a 2 hour rehearsal is included in our wedding package.

Is there a backup plan for inclement weather should we decide to have an outdoor wedding?

Yes our barn always provides a beautiful indoor space for wedding ceremonies or receptions.

How much time will I have for décor setup? Can I add hours to my package?

Our rental includes 10 hours (12 if you pay for the extra 2 hours) of time. You can choose to use that time however you wish but that does include setup and cleanup. Additional time can be purchased for $250 per hour (up to 2 hours in addition total).

Where can I find nearby overnight accommodations for my guests?

I-5 has a number of hotels just five minutes from our property.

Do you have signage or other aids to direct guests to the farm?

Yes, there are signs on the road that direct people to the property as well as our parking lot.

Who is in charge of setup and take-down on the wedding day? What is the time frame for this?

The Barn at Countryside will provide the number of tables and chairs needed for the event. The setup of all furniture is up to you. You may begin setup as soon as your rental time begins, and all takedown of decorations and cleanup of personal items needs to be completed the end of your alloted time (midnight at the latest). The Barn at Countryside team will break down the tables and chairs for you after the event.

What is your alcohol policy?

Alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender.

What is your smoking policy?

No smoking is allowed in the barn or near entrances. 

Can we choose our own caterer or must we pick from a select list?

As of right now, we do not have a preferred vendor list. So you can choose your own caterer.

Will I need to get a liquor license?

No. That will be provided by your caterer or bartender.

Does The Barn at Countryside have a dance floor?

We do not have a dance floor, but our stained concrete barn floor works well for dancing!

Can we celebrate with rice, bubbles, flower petals, candles and/or fireworks?

We welcome bubbles! Candles can be used in hurricanes or other containers. Flower petals may be used but will need to be swept up before the end of the event. We do not allow fake flower petals or confetti of any kind. Fireworks and rice are not allowed either.
